Letter in German with translation, signed 'Friedrich Wilhelm', to the French Financier & railway entrepreneur, Charles Laffitte in Berlin, saying that he finds himself "not persuaded by the proposal contained in your memorial of June this year, about transferring the publicly-owned Coal Mines in Saarbrücken to private enterprise, and must therefore hereby decline your offer respecting them", 1 side folio, Sans-souci, 9th July three short tears in blank outer margin
