Wedding Photograph by 'Studio de France', signed & inscribed in French 'Isabelle Comtesse de Paris', from the wedding of her second daughter Princess HELENE of France, b. 17th September 1934 at Manoir d'Anjou near Brussels, and her Belgian husband Comte Évrard van LIMBURG-STIRUM, b. 31st October 1927, eldest son of Comte Thierry van Limburg-Stirum, inscribed on the mount "Thank you on behalf of Hélène and Évrard for the beautiful flowers and for all your considerate attention towards them Isabelle Comtesse de Paris 1957", taken at the foot of the stairs at Louveciennes, the bride has a magnificent train on her splendid wedding dress, 4¾" x 3½" in mount 7" x 5", Louveciennes, Yvelines,

H.R.H. Princess Hélène was born while her parents were still in exile in Belgium, the law of 1886 that excluded them being not repealed till 1950. The couple were married at Louveciennes (civil ceremony) on the 16th and at Dreux (religious) on the 17th January 1957. The Comtesse de Paris is the eldest daughter of Dom Pedro, last claimant to the Imperial throne of Brazil.
