Signature and end of an Autograph Letter Signed to an unnamed correspondent with some text saying she has "almost daily lamented hving done so but your kindness assures me that you are not angry with me ...", with a note in another hand identifying her, 4½" x 3½", no place, no date

Her relationship and marriage to Charles J. FOX (1749-1806, Whig Statesman and arch-rival of Wiliam Pitt the Younger) was one of the most famous and controversial of their age. She was the mistress of many important men of the age including the future King George IV who granted his former mistress an annuity of £500 per year which was continued by his brother and later his niece, Queen Victoria.
