[GARLAND (Judy, 1922-69, Actress, Star of 'The Wizard of Oz')]

Programme for her Variety Show "Miss Showbusiness", not signed by Garland but signed by Alan KING (1927-2004, American Actor and Comedian known for his biting wit) who opened the show for her and by Dame Shirley BASSEY (born 1937, Welsh Singer) who must have been in the audience, 4 pages 4to., Dominion Theatre, October/November

The Dominion Theatre was one of the sites favoured by Judy Garland. Built in 1929 just before the stock market crash, the Dominion's existence as a live performance venue faltered and it was converted to a cinema in the 1930s, finding much greater success with motion pictures. However, films were paused for a month in 1957 when Garland was invited to play a residency there.
Shirley Bassey must have been visiting to see the show.
