Programme from his 1956 British Tour of "Louis Armstrong and His All-Stars" signed on the photo which shows him half length, holding his trumpet, smiling broadly, 10 pages A4, no place but UK,

His group was called "Louis Armstrong and His All Stars" and included at various times Earl "Fatha" Hines, Barney Bigard, Edmond Hall, Jack Teagarden, Trummy Young, Arvell Shaw, Billy Kyle, Marty Napoleon, Big Sid "Buddy" Catlett, Cozy Cole, Tyree Glenn, Barrett Deems, Mort Herbert, Joe Darensbourg, Eddie Shu, Joe Muranyi and percussionist Danny Barcelona. During the forties and fifties, Armstrong made many recordings and appeared in over thirty films. He was the first jazz musician to appear on the cover of Time magazine, on February 21, 1949. During the fifties he toured all over the world.
