Striking postcard photo, signed and inscribed to Louis B. Frewer (of the Oxford Playhouse Guild), showing her full length, full face, in a dramatic pose, wearing a long silk dress with wrap-around train, 5½" x 3½", no place, no date. but Oxford, 24th June

In the late 1920s, Oda Slobodskaya found her career in opera faltering in America (she was her own manager) and she appeared in variety there and in England. By 1931 she was back in opera with Chaliapin at the Lyceum.
