Proof design of the Royal 'Tudor' Crown by Messrs Harrison & Sons, Royal Printers, in gold, pearl, red, green and crimson on a red background, with bold outlines, no supporters or crest, 7" x 7", no date but a few light flecks

We have seen a note, by William C. Hall of Harrisons, "for Royal Cars. 1937 Coronation", accompanying another copy of this same proof. The same design in black and white, part silhouette and with no lining to the crown, was "For ordinary cars from the Royal Mews". A pleasing item in that the Crown is rarely found in this size.
