I was very happy to get your letter enclosing the little book of poems which I shall keep in memory of my Father. The story you wrote concerning America is a very human one, and the gesture made to you was typical of my Father who was always a generous hearted man. Unfortunately I scarcely knew him as he died when I was six years old. In my 30 odd years in Show Business I have met many of his old friends ... Of course I know Jean Paul and Christine Johnson very well as they worked for my wife for sometime in her act ...
