Commander of the Port at La Maddalena, Sardinia, in Italian with translation, saying "It gives me the greatest pleasure to receive your further pieces of news - The Admiral sends a thousand regards to Signor Millelire ... and begs him to come and dine tomorrow - provided that the wind moderates enough, the Barge will be ordered at the usual time of half past one o'clock", he also thanks Millelire on Nelson's behalf "for the Riscotti", and adds "You do not inform me about the Signora's health, nor about the Signorina's - is there a reason? His Excellency is most deeply grieved that given the time that has gone by since the event, it is not possible to find the culprit, he hopes that it was occasioned more by ignorance than malevolence", and asking Millelire "to convey the above to Signor Don Giuseppe Pez", 1 side folio and conjugate blank, On board 'Victory', no place but La Maddalena, 28th March
