Fair copy of his Petition to the  HOUSE OF COMMONS  in an attractive contemporary hand, humbly apologizing for causing on 26th November [1689] "the displeasure of this Honorable House and of the Comittee that are to prepare the charge against Graham and Burton for ... breach of privilege", referring to "the Warrant annext" by which he remains "prisoner ever since to the great detriment of his Health and prejudice of his Clyents buisinesses ... acknowledgeing such his punishment to be just", and begging "the Favour of this Honorable House and ... Comittee ... in comiseracion of him and his numerous Family", with the fair copy of that earlier Warrant of Henry POWLE, 1630-1692, Speaker of the Convention Parliament, to John TOPHAM, Sergeant at Arms, to take Jones immediately "into safe custody", requiring "all Mayors Bayliffes Sherriffes Constables & other officers" to aid and assist him, bearing Topham's note appointing "Nicholas Riall to execute this warrant", and copy signatures, together 2 sides folio, no date. and 26th November
