the violet ink very faded (transcriptions enclosed), one corner of letter and margins of both pieces trimmed

(Dorothea Ulrike Alice, 1870-1932, Princess of Prussia, daughter of Emperor Friedrich III, wife, 1889, of King Constantine I of Greece), "from her affectionate aunt", in full bright colours, showing a young girl driving geese in the snow, viewed through a cottage front door, which pulls away on tabs to give a three-dimensional effect, many pretty details including the door itself which has a solid upper half and a lower half of loose boards, 4½" x 3", no place, Christmas
