Typed Letter Signed 'Marion Cornwell', congratulating her on "Class C - First Prize" in her county's "Salvage Essay Competition ... remember Britain needs your greatest efforts", and saying that the essay is now in the All-Wales Competition (March 1943), with the finely penned Citation heightened in red and blue, declaring that the essay "has been placed fifth by Emlyn Williams in the final of an All Wales Essay Competition on 'Salvage' ", in aid of "the paper, metal and rubber scrap so vitally needed for munitions of war", and that it "has been included in an illustrated manuscript collection" graciously accepted by H.R.H. Princess Elizabeth, who awarded the first prize (May 1943), together 2 sides 8vo., Ministry of Works, London, March - May small blot on letter without loss
