Autograph Letter Signed to Charles Delapryme, saying he is "deputed by my leash of feminine Tupperites to return thanks for your Trojan Majesty's petit cadeau pour le jour de Noailles [sic!]: especially as the humorous booklet is enhanced by the autograph not only of the veritable son of Priam but also of the father's son of Thackeray", looking forward to Thackeray's lectures on the Four Georges, which he had been giving in America, "it is quite an historical event this open-mouthed satirizing of kings ... especially No. 4 ... to see stern justice done to that illustrious Dandy's memory ... Pray give my best regards & congratulations to Thackeray for his demolition of all humbugs - even royal ones", with laid down on the 4th side a cut signature on card 'Delapryme' obscuring the first two or three words of a P.S., [Tupper] "begs hard for an autograph of the Great Thackeray" and another for "Mrs. Milford, the charming daughter of Winton Episcopus", 4 sides 8vo., Albury, Guildford, 2nd January
