(1941-2008, Teacher, Writer and Broadcaster), thanking him and saying "I am glad you liked my introduction", he knows "something of the perils of teaching ... your school motto might well carry a sub-motto for the masters' common room: 'Boys agitant mentem' ", with Linklater's typescript signed and dated saying "A choir of young voices is always delightful ... it's an excellent idea to let the owners ... write their own carols, and then put them on exhibition. In the 1964 anthology there was a great deal of wonderfully fresh writing" with "the unsullied feeling of natural soloists", he is sure "the new volume will again be filled with pages as bright as April and ... very occasionally - as tearful as April; which as T.S.
