Beautifully Printed Menu of the Luncheon given by the Corporation of London in his honour, (Sir Denis Truscott, 1908-1989, Lord Mayor), the cover in full colour on a blue background representing the monuments of Italy and its modern shipping, across the foot is an impression of the electric power line crossing the straits of Messina, by Frank H. Mason, (1875-1965, the naval and poster artist), inside are a short account of Guildhall and its restoration after the war, the menu, the music by the Royal Artillery Orchestra and the names of the reception committee, and a description of the cover, tasselled cord in the colours of Italy, printed by Raphael Tuck & Sons, 8 sides in covers 11¼" x 8¼", Guildhall, London, 14th May some extremely light spotting on covers and extremely light partial vertical fold, trace of a former corner fold on back cover
