Autograph Letter in the Third Person to Mr Wyatt,
with transcription, saying she "has received an answer ... concerning the Wicker work" and "wishes to consult with Mr Wyatt ... The Man says that it is out of his power to make the pannels so broad as is wished, as the Oziers run thick at one end & very thin towards the other", therefore "it is impossible without some contrivance for the center to manage the fastening of the Rods, which Her Majesty", Queen Charlotte, "thinks Mr Wyatt will [think] best in there", they have thought of "some Idea's" which "if Mr Wyatt could call at the Queens House by ten o'Clock to morrow morning Pss Elizabeth will tell him ... as all must depend on the frame ...", 2 sides 4to, no place, 4th June
a few tiny traces in blank parts of verso of former affixing (Transcription) By Mr Dunbar Princess Elizabeth has received an answer by a private hand concerning the Wicker work and as there is a difficulty started, she wishes to consult with Mr Wyatt about it. Beautiful Portrait Photograph by CECIL BEATON,
signed and dated on the mount, showing her in profile to the left, seated three quarter length, her right arm resting on the side of the chair, in a white organza dress slightly off the neck with a very full skirt, and wearing a diamond tiara, earrings, necklace and bracelet, her sash includes the Garter star and two portrait medallions, 6¾" x 5¾" on card mount 9½" x 7", no place, taken about 1950, this print signed by the Queen later and dated
light crease in bottom right corner of mount barely touching flourish of signature and two figures of date, all entirely legible, small light crease in top left corner of mount
