Document Signed  'Georg Ludewig' as Elector of Hanover,  in German with transcription and translation, addressed to Oberaufseher (Chief Inspector) von Below, enclosing a petition [not present] from Christian Ludwig von EBERSTEIN ZU NEUHAUS (1650-1717, of Neuhaus in Saxony), for "restitution of what has been paid on account of the Forest of Leinungen" (the 'Leinungischer Forst' near Mansfeld, on the Saxon side of the Harz Mountains), "and deposited at the Sequestrator's Revenue Department and the Office of Mines", agreeable to von Below's report of 27th May 1711 about "the Rescript you received from Dresden the 13th February 1708", Georg Ludwig adds that "His Royal and Electoral Majesty of Saxony", (Augustus the Strong, 1670-1733, founder of the Meissen factory and King of Poland), also wrote on 20th March 1711, mentioning the same Rescript, asking him to ensure that "the Receiver of Sequestrations, or whoever else took possession of the money for the Mint", return the money "without further delay", and desiring von Below to recover it and deliver it to von Eberstein, stamped at the head 'G L C' below the Electoral bonnet, 3 sides folio, Hanover, 26th May central fold expertly restored, side 1 somewhat faded but can all be made out, fine strong signature on side 3

Fine Exemplification of the Common Recovery with Double Voucher, in Latin with transcription and translation, by Joseph Biscoe, (Demandant), from John Hanchett, (Tenant to the Praecipe or Writ), of "one messuage 200 acres of land 5 acres of meadow 20 acres of pasture 100 acres of gorse and heath freedom of foldage and common of pasture for 400 sheep with the appurtenances in Foulmore [Fowlmere] Duxford Ickleton Crisall alias Chrishall and Heydon and all and all manner of tithes whatsoever of animals crops growth and regrowth" in the same villages, heard before Sir Peter KING (1669-1734, Chief Justice of the Common Pleas, 1714-1725, Lord Chancellor 1725-1733) or his brethren, and implemented by Maximilian Western, Esq., Sheriff of Cambridgeshire, involving Nicholas Polloxfen (the original Tenant in Tail), and Barrett Edmonds (Common Vouchee), headed by a fine engraved initial letter portrait of George I, surrounded by elaborate penmanship, 6½" x 5½", and continuing with a fine engraved border embodying the first line of the royal titles, 4½" x 21½", vellum, ruled in red, 23¼" x 29" in frame 28½" x 34", Westminster, 12th February 1717, postscript added in Easter fortnight lacking seal

Fine letter signed in German with translation, with an autograph subscription, sending his "friendship and duty and, moreover, affection and best wishes to begin with, Serene Highness and Prince, beloved Cousin. From your Highness's cousinly and kind letter of the 26th December We learn that it has pleased God to recall from this temporal life your youngest son, Prince Friedrich August ... And out of our Christian sympathy with your Highness because of this untimely death, We therefore hope that the Almighty may compensate you by granting you great and lasting prosperity and many happy and joyous events ...", he has ended the letter after his titles "My dear Prince, Ever ready to serve you, Your loyal Cousin Georg Ludewig, Elector", 2 sides folio with impression of his papered seal on half of the conjugate blank, Hanover, 15th January lacking bottom half of conjugate leaf, edges frayed, rather browned overall
