Beautifully Printed Menu of the Luncheon given by the Corporation of London in his honour,
(Sir Denis Truscott, 1908-1989, Lord Mayor), the magnificent cover by Ellis Silas (1885-1972, served with the Anzacs and painted Gallipoli), represents the progress of the Federal Republic, with the arms of the 10 Länder and former capital Berlin, backed by a silvery vine representing the Rhineland including Bonn (then currently the capital), and with vignettes of London, Hamburg, Neuschwanstein and Cologne, inside are a short account of Guildhall and its restoration after the war, the names of the reception committee and a description of the cover, tasselled cord in red and white, printed by Raphael Tuck & Sons, 5 sides in covers 11¼" x 8¼", Guildhall, London, 21st October
