Document Signed and bearing his seal, giving John Pownall, "Secretary to the Lords Commissioners for Promoting the Trade of this Kingdom", power of attorney "to ask demand and receive" from the Tellers of the Exchequer "all sums ... payable to me as one of the Lords of Trade aforesaid", and ratifying all Pownall "shall lawfully do .. by Virtue of these presents", 1 side 13" x 9", no place, 8th October small marginal defect towards foot affecting about 6 letters of the witness statement, seal rubbed except for outlines

Printed letter signed, with the details filled in by hand, to the Paymaster General recording Mr. Disney's payment of £100 6s 10d to the Paymaster General's account at the Bank of England, "being the Amount of unclaimed Balances remaining in his Hands, on Account of the Effects and Credits of Officers and Soldiers of the Foreign Depot ... between 25th December 1809, and 24th August 1816", engraved text with manuscript details, with an attractive carte-de-visite photograph of Palmerston laid down on the document c. 1860, 1 side folio, War Office, 21st June neat notes of Palmerston's career at foot, c. 1860, has been laid down, small tears without loss and small defect in corner
