Autograph Letter Signed to Mr. Harris, saying that "the information you want is in the bibliography compiled by John Gawsworth [1902-1970] ... but in case you are not near a reference library, I think these are the main dates", he picks out three volumes of verse, 1921-1931, and five of fiction, 1929-1941, as to "which is the best, that's for you to judge. My choice would lie between THE BAY, as an extroverted story, & CORPORAL TUNE as an introverted. Most people seem to prefer THE BROTHERS, but THE BAY's by far the best seller (for what that's worth).
