Autograph Letter Signed, with transcription, to Lady Westmoreland, (Jane, d. 1857, née Hicks-Saunders, 2nd wife, 1800, of John Fane, 10th Earl of Westmoreland, 1759-1841), saying he has received her message that she "wished for a letter to an Hanoverian Envoy at Rome, as there was no English Diplomatist there", he has "lost no time in obeying Your Command and enclose You a letter [not present] for the Hanoverian Charge d'Affaire [sic] Monsieur Kestner", (August, 1777-1853, art lover and collector of antiquities), adding "should I not have the pleasure of seeing You previous to Your Departure which I shall very much regret ...
