within the damasked fabric is the Grand Duchess's large Monogram 'M[aria] A[lexandrovna]' 4" tall, elaborately flourished under the Imperial Crown in each corner, between the corners is a rich wide border of leaves, 6 inches wide, with, in the centre, the Russian Imperial Arms, showing the double-headed eagle, 15" tall, on its breast is St George killing the Dragon, 37" x 27", no date,
