And FM the D of W knows nothing of Mr Gervas Wasse !", with in the Duke's hand "done" and the date, 14th June no year but faint trace of gum on blank fourth side

Draft Autograph Letter in the third person to [Mr Hazard, in pencil in another hand], in answer to his request for himself "and Mrs Hazard to view the banqueting table laid for the 18th instant, the day of all others engraved on the heart of every loyal subject", the Duke explaining that for some years he has had to decline "to make a shew of His House; on the Days on which he was to receive Company therein: on account of the great labour imposed upon and Inconvenience to His Servants; and the latter eventually to those invited to His House", and hoping that he will be excused, written on the conjugate leaf of J.S. Hazard's letter (1 side 4to., 22 Hermes Street, Pentonville, 12th June 1843), the Duke's letter 1 side 8vo., no place, no date but June a few small defects in fold and blank edges
