I have long admired your writings & have recited your Hy. 168 'Heart-broken and weary, where'er you may be' and Hy. 184 'O. help us Lord from day to day' ... but I had no idea ... that you added to your other gifts the ring of a true Poet", he is delighted with Hy: 465, 'God who hath made the daisies, and every lovely thing', (which was still in hymn books in the mid 20th century), "We have an Annual Service of all our Schools ... in connection with our Sunday Schools & I shall certainly use that Hymn ...
