telling her that they are "visiting in the country just now. I come up to town for the Savoy of course & return at night. Next Monday we shall be at Broadstairs where all our children are, next week we go up the river for good (or bad, as the case may be) - i had no idea you have started Lawn Tennis or I should have come up one morning. I have had an awfully busy & tiring season & seem to have seen nothing of my own friends.
