I suppose Baron Oppenheim" (Max, 1860-1949, archaeologist in Asia Minor, Syria and Mesopotamia), "will have told you all about our delightful little trip to Palestine ... We have been here nearly a fortnight at this dreadful little island as my father got very ill after his cour [?cure] at Hellonan", warning her never to go to that "awful desert place", and asking her to tell him when she will next be at Schwalbach, the spa near Wiesbaden, 4 sides 8vo., 'Surprise', Malta, 11th March
