(1698-1783, reforming Prime Minister of Naples), in French with translation, requesting "his Excellency ... to expedite a Passport for Seven Domestics in the service of the Countess of Orford,", Margaret (née Rolle, 1709-1781, widow of Robert Walpole, 1701-1751, son of the Prime Minister, from 1745 2nd Earl of Orford), and a permit for her "suite of Twelve Horses, One Carriage, and one other Vehicle", as they are "ready to depart for Rome", 1 side folio and conjugate blank, Naples, 31st May,
(Translation) Naples, 31st May 1774 Sir William Hamilton prays his Excellency the Marquess Tanucci to be so kind as to expedite a Passport for Seven Domestics in the service of the Countess of Orford, and a permit for the suite of Twelve Horses, One Carriage, and one other Vehicle; being ready to depart for Rome.
