Extraordinary Vintage photo by Charles Knight of Ryde, signed and inscribed on the mount, "Victoria Crown Princess of Germany & Prussia Princess Royal of Gt Britain ..." showing her full length standing next to a chair, looking straight at the camera, with her hands clasped, 8" x 4" in gold mount, in a fantastic frame by C. H. Preetz of Berlin, with her name "Victoria" hand worked along the top under her crown, the edges decorated with wreaths and leaves, 12" x 7" max, no place, no date, circa the writing though legible is slightly faded

Final pages of three unsigned Autograph formal Letters in the third person to her son Prince Leopold's physician Arnold Royle discussing his health, in one he says "It is much to be regretted that Leopd. went to see Sir Wm. The world knows how delicate he is & it will do him harm morally in the eyes of the public if he wishes to deceive them with his health ...", she further discusses the arrangements for various doctors, including Reid and Hoffmeister, to be in attendance on Prince Leopold, 4 sides 8vo, on black edged mourning paper, 2 with her monogram at the head, together with the received copy or a Post Office telegraph sent from the Queen at Osborne asking "How are Mrs Royle and baby. Who are other sponsors. When is Christening. Would Victoria Helen suit as names ...", 1 side 4to., on printed form, Osborne, 18th August the telegram with small tears at bottom edge

First hand account in the form of a diary, unsigned, probably by Colonel Wylde headed “Diary of Journey with the Queen - 1845” starting on Saturday 9th August “Left Woolwich after the Prorogation of Parliament... embarked at ½ past 5 on board the Yacht & Anson & myself on board the Black Eagle & the Squadron dropped down to Lea Reach below Gravesend for the night... Sailed... for Antwerp... remained on board for the night... Lefth Antwerp by Railway... met by K & Q of the Belgians... who accompanied the Q... met by the Prussian Authorities on the frontier & by the K of P at Aix la Chapelle and after Luncheon & seeing the Cathedral went on to the Chateau of Bruhl. 12th At Bruhl - excursion to Bonn - to inauguration of Beethoven’s statue. Princes rooms when at College at night to Cologne & embarked on the Rhine to see Cologne illuminated - fireworks etc... 13. At Bruhl to Cologne to see the Cathedral in the morning - Concert at Bruhl in the evening. 14 - Left Bruhl - embarked at Bonn on board the König steamer with the K of Prussia & Court & went to Stolzenfels - grand illumination...”, he carries on with a day by day account “26 - Rosenau - Prince Albert’s Birthday - dance of Peasants & Concert at night. 27 - Left Rosenau - Luncheon at Meinengen & arrived at Rheinhardsbrunn to dinner and sleep... Gotha - Q lodged in Palace of the Prince’s Maternal Grandmother... 29 - Fete at Gotha - Procession of Peasants morning & state reception in the evening...”, he account continues until the end of the trip “Sept 8th - Arrived at ½ past 8... & went to Chateau of Eu to breakfast - drive out in Charabang at 2...”, 5 sides 4to., no place, 9th August to 8th September

Fine Autograph Letter in the Third Person to Arnold ROYLE (Prince Leopold's physician) saying that the Queen has heard from Leopold that he is "very anxious 'if' he 'is able' to attend Mr Royle's marriage - a desire she entirely enters into, feeling that her son wd. wish to assure Mr Royle all possible respect on such an occasion in return for his care of him. But the Queen feels sure from Mr. Royle's own acct. of Leopd's legs - that he is unfit for the exertions just before the journey to Osborne & she trusts Mr Royle will himself ask the Prince not to do so - & even insist on his not doing it - in his present weak & lame state. Getting in & out of Carriages & standing wd, the Queen feels sure, be a gr. Risk, and he surely ought to go straight from Claremont to Osborne. Perhaps Dr. Legg or Dr. Poore shd. be with him on the 20th & go as far as Portsmouth with him, where Dr Marshall shd. be sent to meet him ...", 4 sides 8vo., on her black edged monogrammed mourning paper, Windsor Castle, 15th December
