CEREMONIAL WOODEN STAFF FOR THE CORONATION OF GEORGE VI
[GEORGE VI (1895-1952, King of Great Britain) and ELIZABETH (1900-2002, his Queen)]

Ceremonial wooden staff decorated in red and gold with the King’s cypher and the date and the word “Coronation” at the top, the top and bottom are red and the central portion is gold, 21 inches long, used at Westminster Abbey, 12th May the paint is quite extensively chipped.
