Two Delightful Drawings done as a boy in Coloured Crayon, one Signed,
the first, inscribed below 'WITH LOVE FR[O]M Muirhead Bone' reads 'MY HOTEL' over the door, two storeys with bay windows and an attic storey, with a roof of round-bottomed tiles, he has altered two of the attic windows to gables to try to match the other dormer windows, in the background are forests and mountains, (7¼" x 9¼"), the second shows a garden front of a castle with 'KING' over the entrance between two round towers, someone is raising a royal standard, two soldiers in busbies guard the entrance while a man, presumably the king, walks towards the viewer with his dog, (4¾" x 7"), each in a window of a card mount 15¼" x 13", no place, no date, circa
