GLOCK (Sir William, b.1908, Music Administrator, Pianist, Educationist and Critic)

Autograph Letter Signed to Mr Taylor, telling him that he had "left the BBC in December 1972, but continued to plan the Proms for the 1973 season. In other words, there's plenty to do", 2 sides 4to., Sudbury House, Farringdon, Berkshire, 7th November

Sir William was Controller of Music at the BBC, 1959-1973, and chief conductor of the BBC Symphony Orchestra in 1971. He introduced Boulez to London at the Proms.
