four neat filing holes in blank left margin, slight crease from impression of wafer seal
King Gustaf died at Drottningholm on 29th October 1950. During the first world war, he initiated talks with the other Scandinavian monarchs which led to their preserving their neutrality. During the second, his nephew Count Folke Bernadotte was active in securing the release of prisoners from German concentration camps.
