Autograph picture postcard signed to Eileen Cond, thanking her "for the most attractive card and photograph, which followed the calendar", in an earlier photograph "you were only a rather small figure, I think, outside your house at Ombersley ... in 1937 or 8?", with on the verso Van Gogh's 'The Seine at Asnières', Ditchling, Sussex, postmarked 29th December

Farjeon was an editor for Amalgamated Press, 1910-1920, and, besides his books, contributed to many journals, including 'Punch' as 'Smith Minor'.
