Among Gérard's books are 'The Concrete Castle Murders', 1936, 'The Return of Sanders of the River - From the Immortal Characters created by Edgar Wallace', 1939, 'The Mind of John Meredith', 1946, and 'Malta Magnificent', 1943, about Malta in WW2, during his six years in the forces.
