Autograph Letter Signed 'E.Sarum' to Horatio Nelson, (1823-1913, from 1835 3rd Earl Nelson), saying that Lord Nelson's letter "tho' it may not have such extensive results as you could wish, can do nothing but good", such plans "can only win their way by being proved to work when tried: and I am afraid you overestimate the facilities which most localities would offer for them", he praises Lord Nelson's willingness but fears "that men like-minded are not found everywhere", 2 sides 8vo, Salisbury, 6th November

Lord Nelson lived at Trafalgar House, 5 miles SE of Salisbury.
