Part Autograph Letter Signed, no addressee, saying "... Happy will be the day of His coming to all those who love His Salvation", with a P.S. "Mr. Purves is next in order as lecturer", no place, no date, c. light trace of original smudging in two letters of signature

Prof. Hewitson was Master of Knox College, Dunedin, 1909-1928, and Moderator 1928-1930. Mr Purves may be the barrister and MLA James Lidell Purves, 1843-1910, born in Melbourne, a founder of the Australian Natives Association.
