Collection of over 200 visiting or business cards
from diplomats, journalists, shipping and railway industrialists, academics, publishers and connoisseurs, many naming their official positions, some introducing Leipnik or thanking him for named favours, over 15 countries are represented, especially Hungary, the Netherlands, Great Britain, Japan and Sweden, some duplicates, over 200 items, c. 1905 - c.
The cards show Leipnik's extraordinary range of contacts, and would supplement any biographical study. They include many diplomats accredited to The Hague from the Central Powers, who presumably gave Leipnik some of the information he passed on to London. Including Leipnik's own card as 'Manager of the Foreign Department, "Financial Times" '.
