Kay saying that "it has occurred to Mr Tree" that autograph seekers might "give the small donation of half a crown" to "that very deserving and well-administered Theatrical Charity, the Actors' Benevolent Fund", and lend "a helping hand to those of his brothers and sisters who have had the misfortune to fall on evil times", and giving the address of the fund's Secretary for sending a "postal note" in advance, 1 side 8vo., Her Majesty's Theatre, 7th January
