Autograph Letter Signed in English, to an unnamed correspondent, sending "the desired plan of reorganisation of the military scools of Austria. - I hope it will be accepted by our Emperor" and recommending the bearer, "the brave General Prince Wartenburg ... Hoping to see you soon in Vienna", crowned monogram, with his signed carte-de-visite photograph by Rabending and Monckhoven, no place, no date, c.

The Baron had earlier (1856) been professor of Strategy and the History of War at the School of War, and then served with distinction in North Italy and the South Tyrol.
