CRAUFORD (Robert, 1764-1812, Major-General)

Crauford fought as a Captain against Tippoo Sultan, commanded the Light Brigade attack on Buenos Aires, 1807, and served with distinction in the Peninsula as a commander of light troops, 1807 and 1809. He was killed at Ciudad Rodrigo.
