Christmas card signed and inscribed, "For dear old Nanny from her affectionate friend", with an autograph message on the front wishing her "a merry Xmas & a happy New year" with a design of flowers and a cherub around it, 4" x 3", Berlin

The Princess was a granddaughter of Queen Victoria. The recipient is Mrs Wakelin, who was nanny to the children of Frederick III and the Empress, for many years.
