Fine original unsigned Russian postcard photo showing the infant Tsarevitch, three quarters length seated, dressed in a traditional Court costume with a fur hat, 5½" x 3½", no place, (Tsarskoe Selo), no date. c.

The Empress so adored these pictures that she allowed them to be released as postcards. She also wanted to publicise how healthy he was.
