5 Autograph Letter Signed to Harold Chipp of the Cheltenham Gramophone Society, suggesting " 'Approach to Modern Music (a controversial resumé from Plainsong to the Planets of Holst)" for 9th January 1950 (6th June 1949), "I have been asked to advise on the formation of a Gramophone Society in my district" (13th November 1949), asking Chipp if he would also book accommodation for the 10th for "C.B. Rees, Hubert Foss, and Stephen Williams ... I expect you have heard about our Brains' Trust at the Town Hall on Tuesday night" (2nd January 1950), sending note of expenses (11th January 1950), and saying "I am delighted to hear that the Brains' Trust achieved its purpose, i.e. to start an argument!" (18th January 1950), 6 sides 4to, 39 Hazlewell Road, Putney, S.W.15., 6th June 1949 - 18th January paper clip marks on one item, neat filing holes touching a few letters
