HARTNELL (Sir Norman, 1901-1979, The Queen's Dressmaker)

Fine original hand made Christmas Card signed ('Normie with love') and inscribed "To dear Donald", and dated inside, under the hand printed Christmas greeting message, on the outside is a picture of a very elaborate star made out of beads and sequins on a purple background, 6½" x 4½", no place,

It was Hartnell's habit to make his christmas cards out of the leftover scraps of material and beads from his workshop.
