I have but one fault to find with it, after, of course, most hasty glance at it, that it is much too short (?) for so very handsome and so large a book. I can but hope that the high patronage you have, and some good reviews, which I am sure there ought to be, will give it your due reward ..." with two postscripts, the first asking for Circulars of it and the second saying that he has "just looked over it a very little - It is admirable - It ought to do you good - It will ...", 3 sides 8vo., Nunburnholme Rectory, Heyton, York, 18th February
