Most unusual unsigned portrait photo by Backofen showing her half length in an oval, wearing a dress with a very low decolletage and fantastic jewels including a coronet, pearl choker and most importantly the bracelet that the Prince Consort had given her shortly before his death, 6" x 4" in mount 8¼" x 6", no place,

Taken only a year before her tragic early death from diptheria
A copy of this image always stood in the Empress Alexandra Feodorovna's mauve boudoir and it was the only photo which showed this particular bracelet.
