Fine Autograph Letter Signed 'George' to 'My dear Bishop' saying that he will be "delighted to do anything I can to get Hastings in the Club, either to propose or second him & I will also try to get as many people to vote for him as possible. I am unfortunately laid up on board with a bad foot else I would come & see you ... I hardly like to ask you to come & see me as we are coaling, but if you don't mind a little coal dust I would be very pleased if you would just come on board for a minute an we could talk it over ...", 3 sides 8vo., H.M.S.
