Fine pair of unsigned cabinet photos by Downey showing them each three quarters length, she is wearing a fine dress and pearls and he is in full dress uniform holding his sword and with his plumed hat beside him on a table, in an extraordinary silver frame engraved with their signatures and "India 1906" under the Prince of Wales feathers, 7" x 5½" closed size

From November 1905 to March 1906, George and May toured British India, where he was disgusted by racial discrimination and campaigned for greater involvement of Indians in the government of the country.
