Fine unsigned photo of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor taken in Paris a year after their marriage, showing the Duke seated at the partner's desk that he brought over from Fort Belvedere, not believed to be the desk that he signed the abdication papers at but the one from Queen Mary's sitting room, the Duchess is half seated behind him, looking lovingly into his face, wearing her famous Cartier jewels that Queen Mary (who had never met her) claimed were vulgar, 14½" x 11½", Paris, trimmed

The former King, who had become Prince Edward, was still fighting for the right for his wife to be an HRH. Sadly, this never happened.
