HARTNELL (Sir Norman, 1901-1979, The Queen's Dressmaker)

Fine original hand made Christmas Card signed ('Normie') and inscribed "To Donald with love at Christmastide", and dated inside, under the hand printed Christmas greeting message, on the outside is a picture of a candle with bows and ribbons underneath made out of beads and oddments on a black background, 8" x 5", no place,

It was Hartnell's habit to make his christmas cards out of the leftover scraps of material and beads from his workshop.
